AWARENESS PROGRAMME on - ISO:27001 - 13.06.2009

Most of the businesses are solely based on information. Information security is the process of protecting information. It protects its availability, confidentiality and integrity. To design , implement and maintain a coherent suite of processes and systems for managing information accessibility, thus ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets and minimising information security risk needs implementation of a Management System , known as Information Security Management System.

An awareness session on ISMS was conducted on 13th June '2009 by Mr. Sourav Das , an ISMS consultant , for persons from MSD (Jamshedpur & Kolkata) , HR and CIG. Business Process Re-engeering team leaders were also present.
