TCIL at Aahar 2010 - 10 -14 March, 2010- Delhi, Pragati

The Silver Jubilee of Aahar International Food &
Hospitality Fair was held from 10th to 14th March, 2010
at Delhi Pragati Maidan and the event inaugurated by
Honorable Minister of Food Processing Mr Subodh Kant
Sahai.
The 5-day exhibition organized by the India
Trade Promotion (ITPO) generated numerous avenues for
TCIL as its stall attracted delegates from various
companies dealing in the business of food processing and
packaging.
More than 430 participants showcased their
state-of-the-art technology I the food processing sector
and exhibits in food processing equipment, machineries,
packaged food, packaging technology, packaging
materials, retailing and vending system. The focus was
on current trends in food processing and innovation
through modern technology.
The fair provided an opportunity to leverage its
business. It was estimated that India’s processed food
Industries would grow to US$ 400 billion from US$ 175
billion by 2025 to meet the rapidly changing consumption
profile of the population.
TCIL put up an exhibit under an area of 24 sq.
meter, displaying a variety of cans, its product range
and capability. There were distinguished guests,
enthusiastic visitors and prospective customers who
visited our stall.
