Devi wins GOLD medal at ASIAN POWER LIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP 2009 held
at Udaipur, Rajasthan
Bhagwati Devi P No 15996, an employee of The
Tinplate Company Of India Limited working as Lady Searcher in the
Security Department has secured first place in the 67.5 kg weight
class of Master-I Category, at the ASIAN POWERLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP
2009 held at Udaipur, Rajasthan from 01 - 06 May 2009. She was
conferred three Gold Medals in the following events - Squat, Bench
Press and Dead lift and thus she was declared the winner in her body
weight category for which she had been awarded a trophy and a
certificate in recognition of her achievements. |
