BLOOD DONATION CAMP
AT TCIL - held on 25.03.2008
The Tinplate Co of India Limited (TCIL) has always put
its best foot forward when it comes to Social Responsibility
& Community Care. Such efforts have also been lauded.

Organising BLOOD DONATION camps is just another way of
showing that the company cares for the community at large. A
quarterly event, it is organised by the Joint Departmental
Councils with the cooperation of the Voluntary Blood Donors
Association of Jharkhand. The recent of such camps, was
successfully held on 25th March, 2008 where 88 donors turned
up for the noble cause. An active role was played by the
Golmuri Tinplate Workers’ Union.

The practice of assisting in arranging blood
whenever required reinforces the feeling of bondage
and brotherhood at an emotional level. Indeed, what
is donated by the society eventually goes back to
them – even if it is the lifeline called blood.
