CII BRAND CONCLAVE on 20-21 July, 2006 at Taj Bengal, Kolkata

There is a rise of brands per se globally in this new branding world: Kevin Lane Keller, one of world’s most incisive observers of brand dynamics said in the opening session of the two - day Brand Conclave here in Kolkata.

There have been definitive paradigm shifts in brand management and the focus is now more on “building brands through performance and integrated communication” and “focusing on customer lifetime value” according to Kevin Keller.

Inaugural Session was addressed by Mr. B.L.Raina , Chairman CII-Eastern Region.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sandipan Chakravortty, Chairman, Marketing sub committee, CII Eastern Region said that CII Eastern Region is organising Brand Conclave for the fifth successive year. Kolkata, being Keller’s sole and exclusive workshop in India, has attracted leading business and marketing leaders from around the country.

Over 250 brand and marketing managers from corporate houses and leading advertising agencies, from different Indian centres including Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and over 100 industrial houses have attended for this two day conclave in Kolkata.
