TCIL wins commendation Award for
corporate sustainability- Commendation Certificate for Significant Achievement
2007
TCIL, for the second time in a row, has bagged the
Commendation Certificate for Significant Achievement,
awarded by the prestigious CII – ITC Centre for Sustainable
Development, New Delhi. The award has been won in the
category for Medium Business Organizations. On behalf of the
TCIL, the award was received by Mr. Ujjwal Kumar, General
Manager (HRM) & Corporate Head, Social Responsibility, at a
glittering function in New Delhi on the 12th of December,
2007. |

The
process includes submitting of an Application on the lines of the
requirement of CII – ITC CESD, and was followed up by a site visit by
eminent members of the corporate world.
This
is yet another achievement for the Co. on the Corporate Sustainability
front, as per CII’s guidelines.
