TCIL organizes Customer Meet  at Jamshedpur - 11th May 2009

TCIL organised a customer meet on 11th of May at Jamshedpur. There were key domestic and international customers, representing various end use segments like paints, pesticide, crowns, processed food, aerosol, edible oil etc. The meet started with a plant visit in the morning where the customers took a guided tour of our facilities including ETL2, CRM2 and was followed by a meeting with senior executives of TCIL at the auditorium.

Mr Tarun Daga, Executive Director welcomed dignitaries and Mr S Venkat Raman, Chief Marketing & Sales shared TCIL's future plans with specifics about the on going expansion program at TCIL and about the various market research and promotional initiatives undertaken. He also presented key feedback received by the company from the Customer Satisfaction Surveys conducted during Fy 0809.

The customers also provided a comprehensive appraisal of TCIL's performance. The highlight of the meet was the interactive session conducted by Mr Tarun Daga, Executive Director and Mr Ashok Ghosh, Vice President - each customer addressed TCIL executives, sharing their concerns and overall experience with TCIL. While the customers suggested many Areas for Improvement they also expressed their satisfaction in dealing with TCIL and stated that they have seen discernible improvements in many areas. Mr Daga ended the session by thanking the dignitaries for sparing their time and coming over to Jamshedpur and sought concurrence for more such meetings. He also appealed to all customers to work jointly along with TCIL towards promotion of tinplate packaging.
