Hospital : ISO 9001:2000 Accreditation
In its pursuit of Business
Excellence, Tinplate Hospital has felt the need of external evaluation
and registration of its key processes and Quality Management System.
Hospital was registered with BSI Management System,India, a subsidiary
of British Standards Institution, an internationally reputed certifying
agency for ISO 9001-2000 Certification. Ten personnel from the Tinplate
Hospital including Doctors and representatives from different sections
went through Advanced Awareness Session and Internal Auditors course.
The Hospital with the support of TCIL’s Continuous Improvement Group
submitted the quality Manual and other documents for perusal and an
intensive Audit of the Hospital was done by BSI Lead Auditors and an
Expert(Doctor) and submitted its recommendation.
BSI was pleased to certify Tinplate Hospital Quality Management System
with ISO 9001-2000 with effect from 17.10.2008 to 16.10.2011.The
registration of the Tinplate Hospital is also entered into the BSI
database used as a source of information by many customers. Tinplate
Hospital is one of the few hospitals in Eastern Region to be conferred
with ISO 9001-2000 Certification.
The coveted symbol of BSI
registration is a testament of our commitment to quality and customer
care as well as a doorway to future success and development.
This certification was possible
under the supervision, guidance and support of TCIL Management, CIG,
DMS ,the Quality core team of the Hospital, all the doctors & staff of
the Tinplate Hospital.
