The Eastern India Zonal
Congress which comprises of twelve (12) states of Eastern India
regularly held their conference once in every year at different
eastern states.The conference which was held at Patna the paper
titled "Graduation from Standard Phaco to Cold Phaco"- Is it
necessary ? presented by Dr.S.K.Mitra adjudged the Best Free Paper
for prestigious K.R.Dutta award for the year 2006-2007.(Cold Phaco
is the more advanced procedure of normal Standard PhacoSurgery done
in a very few centers of Jharkhand).

by The President of All India Ophthalmological Society Dr.Ajit Sinha
on 3rd Nov 2007 during the Inauguration ceremony of 22nd.EIZOC and
Jharkhand State Conference at Indian School of Mines,Dhanbad
