KSHITIJ 2008 - QUIZ CONTEST SUPPORTED BY TCIL

“Kshitij 2008” is an inter school quiz contest which aims at bringing talents of the steel city to the fore. The quiz competition tested the knowledge of the students about their state, current affairs and intelligence quotient.

The event was supported by The Tinplate Company of India Limited, XLRI, Pragati (Tata Steel) and Tata Motors.    

Around 250 students from 17 city schools took part in the preliminary round of the contest, six schools made it to the finals. The first round tested the student’s knowledge on their state followed by audio visual and mixed bag rounds.

ADLS Sunshine won the Kshitij 2008, an inter-school quiz contest, organized at the Tata Auditorium on Sunday 17th August 2008. The team of St.Mary’s Hindi High School bagged the second position while Kerela Public School clinched the third prize in the quiz contest organized by YI Net. XLRI School of Business and Human Resources constituted the YI Net in collaboration with Young Indians (YI), an organization promoted by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).

Tarun Daga, Chief Operating Officer  of The Tinplate Co. of India Ltd. gave away the prizes to the winners.
