MBE (Management of Business Ethics) Assurance Survey Feedback Session
Mr. Harish Ahuja , Vice President , TQMS and Lt. Col. Allen Burby
visited TCIL on 8th May 2008 to share the perception on Management of
Business Ethics captured from the Management team as well as Associates
through a Survey carried out by M/s A.C.Nielsens Mr. Ahuja during his
presentation to the Leadership team appraised that TCIL being a JRD QV
Award winning company, TQMS and other 500+ companies are always keen to
come and collect the best practices and also learn TCILs journey
towards Industry leadership. He informed that this years Assurance
Survey (which captures the perception of employees) includes
non-management staff also. He informed everyone that the overall score
of TCIL has gone up from 77 to 84 which is a considerable good score.
Lt. Col. Allen Burbey from TQMS and Mrs. Rekha Seal, Ethics Counsellor,
TATA STEEL also shared their views on how to make the MBE Process more
effective so that it could be cascaded down to the associates. Mr.
N.K.Sharan of TQMS was also present during the occassion.
Mr.K.N.Mishra, Ethics Counsellor apart from welcoming the TQMS team also
shared the MBE Plan 08-09 .
The Sr. Leadership team ( MD was on line from Kolkata along with
executives from Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi) apart from sharing their
views on how to improve and make the MBE process more effective shared
their action plan for the year to promote and propagate the TCoC.
The survey session also included the representation of union office
bearers who gave their commitment to drive and inculcate the culture of
Ethics .
