Industrial Ratna Award for MD, TCIL
Mr. B L Raina, Managing Director of the Tinplate
Company of India Limited (TCIL) was conferred with the ‘Industrial Ratna Award' by
the Wisitex Foundation on 8th November 2004 at Mumbai for his contributions in the
development of modern tin industry, specially in the field of modern packaging by bringing
quality and presentation at par with the world standard.
Wisitex Foundation confers ‘Industrial Ratna
Award’ to recognise the contributions in economic development of the country and for
inspiring accomplishments to create and bring about a turn-around of a Company. The
Foundation was established in 1981 with a view to highlight the progressive Indian
economy in every sphere. It promotes a common platform for global technology update,
tie-ups and promotes international business.
