Tinplate Officials, Workers Hold Meet
 A Meeting of the
committee members and office-bearers of the Tinplate Workers Union and senior officials of
the company was held today, 28th May 2003 at the Golmuri Club. The meeting to discuss the
financial results, technological advancements and future plans of the company.
In a brain-storming session between the Union and
management officials, several pertinent issues relating to the future growth of the
company and the welfare of the employees also came up.
 Addressing the
members, Bhushen Raina, MD, Tinplate Company of India Limited, spoke about the present
financial status of the company and also drew the attention of the gathering to the growth
plans that the company had for the future.
Rakeshwar Pandey, president of the Tinplate
Workers Union, said that the main ingredients for the continued growth of the company were
keeping abreast of the technological advancements in the world , able leadership and, the
most important of all, cooperation from the employees without which no modern company
could progress. |
