Safety Training Program -  TCIL’s Sr. Management team

The Safety Excellence Journey, on which TCIL embarked 3 month back with the support and guidance of TATA STEEL, from 4th – 6th January 2010 “Safety for Plant Managers” was organized with all Sr. Executives  of TCIL, This training program was held at Shavak Nanavati Technical Institute , Jamshedpur followed by Safety Observation Visit to TATA Steel’s LD2 construction site and CRM Mill, about 30 Sr. Executives attended the training program including MD, TCIL. This training was meant for Plant Managers with the objective to enhance TCIL’s current Safety performance and set up on a path toward continuous safety improvement.

The training program specifically addresses the human behavioral aspect for eliminating unsafe acts. By introducing Safety observation process through which TCIL can identify and address potential safety concerns before they result in injuries or near misses, and provide safer work place for all.
