Launch
of First Volume of Safety Standards for TCIL - 07.04.2011
It has been a constant aim
of TCIL to step up safety measures for the benefits of its
employees. It was a proud moment for the "Apex Safety Sub
Committee - Standards Rules & Procedures” to come out with the
first volume of Safety Standards for TCIL. This was released on
7th April 2011 by Mr.Tarun Daga, MD,TCIL and Mr. Rakeshwar
Pandey, President - GTWU in presence of senior leaders , Union
Office bearers and employees.

The Safety standard volume
contains twenty four safety standards. The team aspires
to continue this journey with the final objective of
creating a safe workplace at TCIL. The company has set
for itself the target of bringing down Lost Time Injury
Frequency Rate (LTIFR) to 0.4. |
