Social Responsibility - Literary
Classes
The CD deptt. organizes literacy classes for
those members of the society who don't know reading and writing. The third batch of such
persons willing to learn to read and write, was started in March this year. There are 30
men and women who are presently attending this programme. Most of these persons are daily
wage earners. Officers of the Company have volunteered to take these classes and are
devoting time after their office hours. The venue and learning material are provided by
the company and the classes are going on thrice a week.
